Sounds like you are just about ready to go! I'm looking forward to making it up that way this summer and meeting some new faces. Haven't been to Lakeside yet, just got back into R/C last spring after moving to Arkansas in January last year (Air Force). I won an SC10 kit at one of my last races at Thunder Valley last summer, but didn't get it put together yet before I deployed. Planning on having that and a Jammin' SCRT10 to race this year, and going to hit up all the tracks I possibly can... LOOK OUT!!

I have not raced sence I left California and I left in 1998.
I hope everything comes back to me, it has been a long time away.
also I'm getting my wife to race also thats why we bought two of everything, the sc10's will be exactly the same that way no one of us can say you beat me because you got a better (item) than me.

Post Re: New Trucks
i'm getting a little excited about racing (uselink5 is me hubby) first time for me to race. i know he'll put them all together and hand me the remote saying ok have fun. lol. hoping by the weekend we will have the bodies and paint in and hopefully the weather will be nice so i can go outside to begin painting the bodies. since we have a new little one in the house now its not a good idea to airbrush inside since i cant really open any windows/doors cause of the cold for ventilation. still a bit nervous tackling the rc bodies as they are painted backwards lol, but i hope i do a good job. :)

You guys will have a blast. Last sat they had a few new racers at Thunder Valley and John had a novice class for them. That way you dont have to worry about anything but getting around the track and having fun. I think Shane won it .

This is soo annoying due to the weather the hobby shop that we ordered the SC10's has been closed for the last 2 days.
I would love to go pick them up!

I was mostly testing out the batteries, I'm going to change them to dean plugs and would not want to find out one of the cells is bad inside after i changed them! I can see the company saying I voided the waranty by doing that.
