 Re: New Trucks
we got our sc10's today, but some parts are on back order >< got the paint and hubby's body... unfortuntatly both my sc10 and rc10t bodies are on back order which really sucks cause i wanted to start painting and i honestly dont think hubby wants me to use his body as a test subject being the first one i paint. hubby still not got his remote in yet. and we got 2 tires (would be ok if we were driving a motorcycle) the other 6 back ordered lol...

 Re: New Trucks
you can get yourself a piece of glass to practice on before you paint your bodies i intended to do this before i painted mine but the glass i grabbed was tinted so i didnt even mess with it before i painted those first two bodies i posted, but now ive been practicing on the glass with other effects before i paint them on a body.
with the glass you can see what i looks like from the other side (as you would with and r/c body) and then you can jsut wash the paint off and start over....

 Re: New Trucks
i actually bought a 100 pack of transparency film that you use with over head projectors to practice on. but even though i'll be practicing on those still i dont think hubby would want me to paint his body first lol. even though how he wants his painted i think is rather simple compaired to what i plan on doing with mine.

 Re: New Trucks
well i decided for like the last 10mins of daylight left outisde i took my sc10 outside just to play around a little in the yard. i'm still way newbish on steering/driving one but i had a rather fun time chasing my 4 year old son around with it that is until he grabbed a stick and started chasing the sc10 so no more playing around haha. hubby and i are going to try to be able to go to bebe next saturday, i think i got a baby sitter as long as she doesnt work lol.

 Re: New Trucks
I'm looking at the manual and blow up view for a assoiated B44 and think I could make a 4x4 SC10 from B44 parts, SC10 parts, would have to make new chassis and shock towers out of aluminum but that would be easy sence the B44 chassis and shock towers are flat. just pick up some nice high grade aircraft aluminum in the right thicknest it also would be nice to have it anodized blue.
